Dr. Alissar Nasser is an experienced statistician and academic, specialising in informatics and data analysis. A leading figure in the development of price indices for the Lebanese Government, she has authored several technical papers, and lectured widely across the international statistical circuit.

As senior lecturer at the Lebanese University in Beirut, as well as other private universities, Dr. Nasser is a recognised expert in the application and use of statistical software packages such as R, SPSS, and Eviews. Dr. Nasser's statistical portfolio also includes the advanced use of financial econometric techniques such as ARIMA, VAR, and Cointegration; as well as a detailed appreciation of statistical classification systems. Her current research focuses on kernel methods, internal indices, and data envelopment analysis.

As expert for the Lebanese Government, Dr. Nasser leads work on the processing of statistical surveys, price indices and metadata. She has also delivered numerous professional training and consultancy sessions across the world.

Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, Dr. Nasser holds a PhD in Data Analysis from ULCO University in France.
